Prayer is central to the life of our congregation. Every week we gather to pray on Wednesdays and Sundays during our worship service.

Visitation is an important part of the Care Ministry at St. James. There is no substitute for being together, friend to friend.  When we are sick or lonely, the comforting presence of a caring friend brightens the day.

St. James desires to share in your important life events such as baptisms, confirmation, weddings and funerals.

We are a church that believes Jesus is God’s “Yes” to us.

Our lives can be a “Yes” to others.

God joins us in Jesus to a community, the body of Christ. In the life of the body, God is working both in us and through us and our hands to share the love of Jesus with our neighbor.

“For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.” (1 Corinthians 12:12)

We hope that you will find a place to care and to be cared for within the community of St. James. Just as there are many members of the Body of Christ, so too, there are many needs!
