Our Ministries
When we gather for worship, we connect with believers everywhere.
When we study the Bible and pray, we are drawn more deeply into God’s own saving story.
When we serve others and address social issues that affect the common good, we live out our Christian faith.

St. James Radio
St. James Radio Broadcast
Did you realize that on those days that you just can’t make it to church, you could listen to the broadcast on local radio stations? Turn your radio to either KBFS-AM at 1450 or KYDT-FM at 103.1, and you will hear our worship service at 10:15 AM every Sunday. We know we have a number of regular listeners, and we do greatly appreciate your input on how the service is coming over the air. Please call the church at 723- 3923 and let us know if there is some way we can improve the broadcast.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
The Prayer Shawl Ministry is made up of a group of people who have crafted shawls laden with prayers. These knitted or crocheted shawls are then given to someone as a reminder of God’s presence. It is a gift for every time and every occasion— joyful or sorrowful. On a personal note, Alice Turbiville received one of these shawls while she was in hospice last year and wrapped herself in it every day. She often asked to have the accompanying card read to her and was so thankful that each stitch was made with a prayer. This is a marvelous ministry! If anyone is interested in learning how to make these shawls, please speak to Genevieve.

QuiltingQuilting will be the first Monday & Tuesday of each month. This group is in dire need of more people to help make quilts. They have coffee mid morning and a sack lunch at noon. If you are interested in joining this group of wonderful quilters, please speak to Carolyn Kindsfater. |
Compassion Cupboard
The Compassion Cupboard will be open every Tuesday and Thursday for a set period of time with different churches in Belle Fourche responsible each week to help run the facility. With the churches taking turns, it means we will need to help about every 2 months. If you would like to volunteer, please sign the sheet in the back of the church or let Pastor Jeff know you are interested.
